Linda Heron

Linda Heron joined the National Industry Skills Committee at its inception in May 2006.

Linda Heron is currently Director of Sea Winds Vineyard.  Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Sea Winds Vineyard has 6 acres planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Traminer grapes which are sold to local wineries for wine production.  Sea Winds also offers self contained accommodation for wine loving couples.

Linda Heron was previously General Manager, Southern Zone for Coles Group Limited with responsibility for the operations of the 286 Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian Coles Supermarket stores encompassing 33,000 team members and turnover in excess of $7 billion per annum.  Prior to this appointment Linda was the General Manager, Human Resources for Food, Liquor and Fuel encompassing the Supermarkets, Coles Express and Liquor Divisions.  Linda has previously held a number of Senior Human Resources and Retail Operations Management roles at Coles.

Linda's considerable experience in the retail industry spans over 25 years.  In addition to being a member of the National Industry Skills Committee, Linda was also a past board member of the Victorian Qualifications Authority (VQA) and the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
